DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central University women's basketball team will be going for its third consecutive win over Delaware State University when the Lady Eagles visit Dover, Delaware, for its rescheduled Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) game on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Fans who cannot attend the game in Memorial Hall Gym, can listen to the MEAC showdown on the NCCU Sports Network, with

DSU (5-13, 2-3) is coming off a 20-point home loss to North Carolina A&T on Monday (84-64), but sits a half-game ahead of NCCU in the MEAC standings. The Lady Hornets have three players that are scoring on average in double figures in sophomore guard Mikah Aldridge (12.4), senior forward Amber Bogard (12.1) and freshman forward NaJai Pollard (10.2). Pollard, who leads Delaware State with 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game, has earned MEAC Rookie of the Week six out of 11 weeks so far this season.
