LIVE VIDEOSERIES: Gardner-Webb is 3-0 against NCCU since the Lady Eagles started playing at the NCAA Division I level. The Runnin' Bulldogs will be hosting NCCU for the first time (first meeting in Durham in 2010 and the last two matches in 2012 and 2013 have been at neutral sites).
North Carolina Central University Volleyball The Lady Eagles were unable to get into the win column at the Elon Phoenix Classic this past weekend despite taking Wake Forest University to five set on Friday. NCCU (0-7 Overall) lost to host Elon and Charleston Southern University on Saturday.

Kelsey Murphy was named to the Phoenix Classic All-Tournament Team. Murphy has led NCCU in kills in each of the squad's last six matches to increase her average to 3.50 kills per set. She also ranks second on the team with 2.18 digs per set.

The Lady Eagles, who are averaging only 1.04 blocks per set and 0.70 aces per set and allowing more double those totals to their opponents, are getting a team-best 4.70 digs per set from freshman

Gardner-Webb University Volleyball The Runnin' Bulldogs started the season with two consecutive wins but have since dropped five straight matches including their first three home matches in the AmericInn Runnin' Bulldog Classic this past weekend.
Senior Tyra Montour is the only GWU player averaging over two kills per set with 2.06 spikes per game. The Runnin' Bulldogs have five other players averaging within a half of a kill per set of Montour.
Gardner-Webb (2-5 Overall) has a strong defense with senior Anna Pashkova once again pacing the back line. Pashkova, who ranked in the top 25 of NCAA Division I last season in digs per set, is already averaging 5.81 digs per in her final campaign.
The Runnin' Bulldogs have use two setters in all seven matches in sophomore Justine Bowers (5.58 assists/set) and freshman Tinsley Fain (3.59).
