BOX SCOREGREENSBORO, N.C. – The North Carolina Central University women's tennis team picked up an important win in its final Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match of the 2015 regular season in defeating archrival North Carolina A&T University, 7-0, at the Aggie Tennis Courts Monday afternoon.
NCCU won all six singles matches in straight sets to level its league ledger at 3-3. The Lady Eagles, who are 6-13 overall, will have to wait for a couple more MEAC Southern Division matches to be played over the final week and a half of the regular season to know its postseason status.

Muamba and Nekrasova continue their impressive seasons with matching 13-6 singles records. Wood (10-8) reached the double-digit wins plateau while Cover, Ramic and Rogers all have five wins on the campaign.
The Lady Eagles won the top two doubles matches by identical 8-1 scores. Muamba teamed up with Ramic in the top pairing while Wood and Nekrasova took to the middle court together. NCCU completed the doubles sweep with an 8-4 win by Cover and Rogers.
The Aggies (1-12 Overall, 1-4 MEAC) lost their third consecutive match.
NCCU next entertains Hampton University in a rescheduled match on Wednesday, April 8 at 2 p.m.
