North Carolina Central University The Lady Eagles continue to hover around the .500 mark after dropping a pair of non-conference games at Charlotte on Wednesday. NCCU (14-14 Overall) dropped to 0-3 on opposing teams home fields after playing 13 home games and 12 neutral site contests.

Emerie Germ (.452, 20 RBI, 20 R, 5 2B, 5 HR).
Junior
Casey Hargett (.372) and sophomore
Dominique Wilson (.345) are also averaging over one hit per game and they follow Germ closely with 16 RBI apiece. Hargett has scored a team-high 21 runs and Wilson matches Germ with five homers.
The Lady Eagles have a total of eight players batting .250 or higher.

London Booker paces the conference with eight wins splitting NCCU's workload from the pitcher's circle.
NCCU and Savannah State played an evenly matched series last year in Durham as both teams scored 14 runs over the three games. The Lady Tigers took the first two close games 5-3 and 6-5 before the Lady Eagles avoided the sweep with a 6-3 triumph in the finale.
Savannah State University Softball The Lady Tigers are 9-15 overall and have started off 2-1 in the MEAC after winning two of three games at Florida A&M last weekend.
Savannah State's lineup features the reigning MEAC Player of the Year in junior first baseman Torrian Wright, who entered the week leading the nation with a .549 batting average. Wright has 12 home runs, 31 RBI and 25 runs scored while being walked 36 times in 24 games.
The Lady Tigers have hit 38 total homers in 24 games including eight by Aber Hallman (.397), five by Amanda Hallman (.254) and four each by Kylie Tierce (.288) and Molly Lillis (.258).
However, SSU's pitching staff is allowing an average of eight runs per game with a combined ERA of 9.04. Ashley Eichenlaub (7-8, 7.66 ERA) has tossed majority of the innings for the Lady Tigers.
