NORFOLK, Va. – Seventy-six North Carolina Central University student-athletes have been named to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) 2013 Commissioner's All-Academic Team which recognizes the academic achievements of men and women from the Eagles 14 athletic programs during the 2012-13 academic school year.
The conference honored student-athletes from the 13 member institution, including sophomores to seniors, with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
A total of 886 MEAC student-athletes were recognized.
"I am excited to highlight the 886 student-athletes who maintained a 3.0 or better grade point average during the 2012-13 academic school year," said Commissioner Dennis E. Thomas. "I would like to commend the administrators, athletic academic support staff and personnel, coaches, institutions, and parents for their contributions to the academic success of these student-athletes."
