www.NCCUEaglePride.com) – During the final home match of the 2013 season, the North Carolina Central University men’s tennis team dropped an 4-0 decision to the Liberty University Flames on Friday, April 12, in Durham, N.C., on the NCCU Tennis Courts.
LU began the match capturing the doubles victory after winning all three doubles matches giving them a 1-0 headed into singles play.
In singles competition,
Jose Fabara cleared the courts first after falling to Siim Tuus 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 2 spot.
Daniil Gerasimov was defeated at No.1 by Shea Thomas (6-1, 6-2) and
Fabrice George fell to Jorge Azuero 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4 giving the Flames the 4-0 victory.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday, April 12 as they travel to Raleigh, N.C., to take on the Shaw University Bears at 11 a.m.
