Junior Racquel Davis (Brooklyn, N.Y.) lead the way offensively for the North Carolina Central University women's basketball team as the Lady Eagles (4-4) dropped their second-straight contest falling to the Campbell University Lady Camels (6-2), 56-45, on Monday, Dec. 16 inside McDougald-McLendon Gymnasium.

Davis lead all-scorers with 16 points, shooting 5-for-8 from the field and 6-for-8 from the free throw line, while also pulling down a team-best nine boards and one steal.

As a team, NCCU shot 16-for-48 from the field (33.3%), 11-for-16 from the foul line (68.8%) and 2-for-13 from behind the arc (15.4%), while collecting 32 rebounds, 12 assists, four blocks and eight steals.

The Charlotte, N.C., native averages 13.5 points per game, shooting 37-for-113 from the field (.327), 15-for-50 from behind the arc (.300) and 19-for-22 from the free throw line (.864).

Freeman earned a season-high 24 on Nov. 23 during a 76-65 victory over UNC Asheville.
Davis on the Double

Junior Racquel Davis has collected three double-doubles this season (at Presbyterian, at South Florida and vs. Gardner-Webb), averaging 12.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per contest.

Davis earned a season-best 15 rebounds at Presbyterian (Nov. 14) and 17 points versus Gardner-Webb (11/25).
