NCCU MT v. Florida A&M / NCCU MT v. Maryland Eastern Shore
DURHAM, N.C. (www.NCCUEaglePride.com) – In North Carolina Central University men’s tennis doubleheader with Florida A&M and Maryland Eastern Shore, the Eagles went 1-1 in home action on Saturday, March 17 in Durham, N.C. on the NCCU Tennis Courts.
The mighty maroon opened the day with a 5-1 loss to Florida A&M and concluded the day with a 6-0 win over Maryland Eastern Shore.
Against FAMU, Tamina Kienka beat Fabrice Mytril 7-5, 6-4 for the only win against the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Florida foes.
In the 6-0 win over UMES, doubles teammates Jack Waissen and Fabrice George and Kienka and Jamal Hoyte finished with win.  Waissen and George beat Malcolm Johnson and Andre Costica 8-0, as Kienka and Hoyte defeated Wirlen Elame and Wayne Heath 8-0.
NCCU secured the victory with five singles wins.  Waissen seized a 6-0, 6-0 win over Johnson, while Jose Fabara defeated Costica 6-0, 6-0, George beat Elame 6-1, 6-0, Kienka overpowered Health 6-1, 6-0 and Hoyte conquered Christopher Charles 8-0 for the final win of the day.
