NCCU MEN’S CONCLUDES MEAC ROUND-UP WITH TWO WINS

SUMTER, S.C. – The North Carolina Central University men’s tennis team defeated two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference foes on March 5-8 in Sumter, S.C., during the 2011 MEAC Round-Up.
 
During the four-day competition, the maroon and grey opened the tournament with a 5-2 victory over UMES on Saturday, March 5, while concluding the event with a 4-3 win against Hampton on Tuesday, March 8.
 
NCCU continues the season with a Saturday afternoon match-up against Virginia State on March 19 in Durham, N.C. on the NCCU Tennis Courts behind McDougald-McLendon Gymnasium.
