Cameron Chatman earned a three-set, tie-breaker victory at No. 2 singles over Natalie Collins of East Carolina University to remain unbeaten on the season and provide the Lady Eagles with their lone point during a 6-1 loss to ECU on Saturday evening.
Saturday's match was historic for NCCU, as it marked the first women's tennis home match to be played under the lights and it was the first time ECU visited the NCCU campus to compete in women's tennis.
