2014: MEAC All-Conference Third Team outside hitter … Team MVP starting all 29 matches and playing all 96 sets … Ranked third in the MEAC with 37 aces and 0.39 aces per set … Ranked fifth in the MEAC with 3.53 points per set … Had a team-best 287 kills on 995 attempts for a .132 hitting percentage to rank sixth in the MEAC with 2.99 kills per set … Chipped in 188 digs, 27 blocks and eight assists … Recorded a double-double in four matches (Elon, North Carolina A&T, Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M) … Had a season-high 23 kills against Florida A&M (Nov. 2), 15 digs against Bethune-Cookman (Oct. 5) and four aces twice … Averaged 4.57 points per set including 3.92 kills per set and 0.49 aces per set in conference play (10 MEAC matches) ... MEAC All-Academic team

2013: Made an immediate impact to the program as a rookie playing and starting in all 28 matches … Ranked in the team’s top-three in kills  with 158 during the season on 646 attempts, averaging 1.07 per match (.085) … Collected 10 assists, and 10 service aces on the offensive end … On defense she earned 17 total blocks and led the Eagles with a team-best 210 digs (2.26 dps) … She reached double-figure digs during six matches with her best defensive performance on Sept. 18, 2013 during a home match against rival N.C. A&T where she collected a season-best 18, while she recorded a season-high 14 kills during a home sweep over Savannah State on Oct. 11, 2013

High School: Gradated from Etiwanda High School in 2013 … Was a tri-athlete (volleyball, basketball, softball) … During her senior season collected 258 kills (3.4 per set) with a .192 hitting percentage, 57 blocks, 193 digs and 28 aces while also being named 2013 Baseline League Outstanding Senior, 1st Team All Baseline League, team MVP & Best Offensive Player, team captain and scholar athlete … As a junior was named as Honorable Mention All-Baseline League, Team Best Offensive Player, team captain and Top Scholar Athlete … During her sophomore season earned Team Best Offensive Player, team captain, scholar athlete and as a  freshman received Team Coaches Award and scholar athlete … Off the courts Murphy was named Outstanding Participant in the 2013 National Achievement Scholarship Program,  Junior Honor Guard and  was a National Honor Society Member.
