2012: During her junior season Russell played in 30 matches while starting in 29 … Was third on the team in total kills with 152 on 398 attempts … Lead the team with 36 services aces along with 28 solo blocks and 92 total blocks while collecting 73 digs … Earned a season and career-high 11 kills on Nov. 9 against South Carolina State and recorded a career-high eight blocks twice during the 2012 season.  

2011: Competed in 25 matches, while starting in 21 as a middle hitter … Finished her sophomore season with 110 kills, including a match-high nine kills on Nov. 11 at South Carolina State … Was second on the team in blocks with 62 … Notched 10 service aces and 54 digs.

2010: Played in 33 matches, while starting in 23 … Amassed 96 kill on 305 attempts, finishing fourth on the squad … Tallied 70 block assists and four solo blocks to the defense … Notched a season-high seven kills in the five-set match against Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 22 … Amassed a season-high seven block assists on Sept. 17 against South Carolina State.

High School: Was a two-sport student-athlete at Baldwin Senior High School, where she played both volleyball and basketball ... Was a four-time letterwinner in volleyball ... Was a four-year starter as a middle blocker and outside hitter ... Selected as team captain her senior season ... Was a 2007 and 2009 All-County selection ... Earned All-Conference honors in 2008 and was the Most Valuable Player in 2007 ... Was named the 2008 Outstanding Student-Athlete ... Earned All-Tournament Team honors for three consecutive years ... Played club volleyball for four years ... Led her basketball team to a 2010 2A Nassau County Championship title.
