As a Senior (2023-24)
First Team All-MEAC… Three-time MEAC Offensive Player of the Week (Dec. 20, Jan. 11, March 6)… BOXTOROW First Team All-American… HBCU All-Star Selection… HBCU All-Star Sam Jones NCAA Division I Player of the Year… started all 29 games he played… led the Eagles in scoring at 15.3 points per game… averaged a league-high 5.3 assists per game and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.0)… grabbed 3.9 rebounds per game… led NCCU in minutes played per game at 33.0… scored a season-high 30 points against St. Andrews University making six three-pointers (Dec. 15)… passed for 15 assists to tie a Division I school record at Coppin State University (March 2)… grabbed nine rebounds at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (Jan. 27)… had five steals in three different games this season… three double-doubles (Dec. 12 – NC A&T, Feb. 26 – Delaware State, March 2 – Coppin State)... Named men's basketball MVP at NCCU Student-Athletes Awards.

As a Junior (2022-23)
Made 29 appearances, logging 290 minutes with an average of 14.5 minutes per game. Dished out 50 assists to finish top-ten in the MEAC. Collected 16 steals, skied for 27 rebounds and scored 113 points. Season-high of 16 points came against Norfolk State (Feb. 27) and eight assists at Marquette (Dec. 6).

Prior to NCCU:

Itawamba Community College (2021-22): Started all 22 games he appeared in, and averaged 17.5 points per game.  Shot 48.2 percent from the floor, and 42.9 percent from the arc with 54 threes made.  Scored in double-digits in all but two games, and scored 20+ points six times with three 30-point performances.  Dropped a season-high 35 points with 11 field goals and seven three-pointers against Copiah-Lincoln Community College (Feb. 7).

North Carolina A&T (2019-21):  Played 46 games with three starts, and averaged 20.5 minutes per game.  Averaged 7.8 points per game, and made 69 threes.  Shot 32.7 percent from downtown.  Had a breakout freshman campaign in 2019-20 where he averaged 9.0 points per game with 50 triples at a rate of 32.7 percent, and earned MEAC All-Rookie honors.  Scored in double-digits 12 times, including a career-best 21 points against Kent State at the Don Haskins Sun Bowl Invitational.  Also dished out a career-high six assists against Mid-Atlantic Christian.

High School (Leo Catholic): Averaged 21.0 points and 6.0 assists per game as a senior.  Earned All-State honors from the Associated Press and the Basketball Coaches Association.  Also named fourth-team All-State by the Chicago Sun-Times, and was a Mr. Basketball finalist.

Personal: Born in Chicago, Illinois.  Parents are Fred, Sr., and Tina Cleveland.  Enjoys playing video games, shoes, and watching basketball.  Likes to see other succeed.  Majoring in behavior social sciences with a minor in business at NCCU.
