"J.P." Paulk enters his second season as an assistant with the NCCU volleyball program in 2017-18. He joined the staff in July of 2016.
Paulk has also coached at the North Carolina Volleyball Academy since October of 2014 and has worked with head coach Jody Brown and assistant coach Emma Celentano at that club, which is based out of Durham.
Paulk is a recent graduate from North Carolina State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 2016.
Paulk has additional volleyball experience in addition to the NC Volleyball Academy. He played for and was president of the NC State Men’s Club Volleyball Team as an underclassmen. Paulk has served as a coach at the UNC Volleyball Camps and as head JV coach at Chapel Hill High School for one season.
“JP will be our second assistant,” said Brown. “He will be working with our outside hitters and scouting in regards to all of our videotape exchange while focusing on our offensive structure against opposing teams.”
