Biography

As a Redshirt Senior (2022-23)
Selected to the MEAC All-Conference THIRD Team. Named MEAC Player of the Week (Feb. 14). Started all 30 games, with a 26.8 minutes per game average. Skied for 160 boards, dished out 22 assists, blocked six shots and collected 17 steals. Scored 303 points, averaging 10.1 points per game. Season-high double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds came against Coppin State (Feb. 13).

As a Senior (2021-22)
One of two Eagles to appear in all 31 games, and started 30.  Averaged a team-high 29.6 minutes per game.  Led the team in rebounding with 6.0 rebounds per game, and chipped in 10.7 points per outing.  Ranked 13th in the MEAC in scoring, sixth in three-point percentage, sixth in rebounding, and ninth in field goal percentage at 47.7.   Named MEAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Dec. 14 after a double-double of 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds against Carver (Dec. 9).  Drilled five three-pointers in a game twice, including a dramatic trey with 1:37 left to finish a comeback victory at home against Norfolk State (Jan. 31).  Played all 40 minutes and poured in five triples on the way to 21 points at Coppin State (Feb. 14).  Notched a season-high 23 at home against Md. Eastern Shore with eight made field goals (Feb 21).

Prior to NCCU:

Providence College (2018-21): Played in 40 games in three seasons, and totaled 46 points and 34 rebounds.  Scored a career-high eight points in the season-opener against Fairfield in 2020 (Nov. 25).  Missed 21 games due to injury as a sophomore in 2019-20.

High School (St. David’s School): Averaged 21.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.8 steals per game as a senior, and received the Tom Suiter Extra-Effort Award and All-State honors that season.  Averaged 20.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.3 steals during his high school career.  Ranked No. 43 power forward and No. 17 in the state by ESPN.

Personal: Born in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Mother is Veronica Ragland.  Enjoys listening to music, bowling, and fishing.  Majoring in behavioral and social science at NCCU.
