North Carolina Central University Athletics

2020: Made seven appearances with six starts.  Notched four hits with one RBI, and scored five runs.  Walked three times for a .304 on-base percentage.  Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored against Niagara on Feb. 22.  Was the only Eagle starter with a perfect fielding percentage, recording 65 putouts with 10 assists.

2019: Made 41 appearances and 37 starts.  Had 23 hits with three doubles to drive in 13 RBI.  Scored 14 runs, and walked 18 times.  Threw out nine runners attempting to steal.  Had four multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game.  Had a nine-game streak of reaching base safely.  Preseason Second Team All-MEAC.

2018:  Made 43 appearances with 34 starts as a catcher.  Picked up 27 this with 19 RBI, and touched home 19 times.  Slugged .316 with three doubles and two home runs, and walked 14 times.  Became just the fourth Eagle to knock five hits in a single-game against Iona (March 2) when he went 5-for-5 with three RBI and four runs scored.  Finished 10th in the MEAC with a .982 fielding percentage.  Named MEAC All-Academic.

2017:  Made nine appearances with one start as a catcher.  Batted .308 (4-for-13) with four RBI on two doubles and touched home four times.  Walked a pair of times.  Made his first career start against High Point (March 29) and picked up his first two career hits in a 2-for-5 day with a run scored.

High School (High Point Christian Academy): Advanced to NCISAA 3A State Championship in his senior season.  Two-time All-Conference honoree, and named team Defensive Player of the Year all four years.

Personal: Born Jan. 9, 1997 in Winston-Salem, N.C.  Parents are Steve and Kimberly Fischvogt.  Enjoys being outdoors, fishing, spending time with family, and listening to bluegrass music.  Majoring in business at NCCU.
