As a Sophomore (2018-19)
Appeared in 33 games and averaged 17.2 minutes per game.  Scored 5.8 points per contest and shot 31.0 percent from downtown with 40 made treys.  Shot 33.9 percent from the floor.  Scored a season-high 17 points twice against Warren Wilson on November 18 and McNeese State on December 1.  Matched his career-high with four rebounds against Nicholls State on November 23 and reached a new career high with five assists against Warren Wilson.  Preseason Second Team All-MEAC.

As a Freshman (2017-18)
Named Second Team All-MEAC.  Started all 35 games and averaged 29.3 minutes per game, the most on the squad.  Finished 28th in the MEAC with 10.8 points per game, and ninth with 2.2 three-pointers made per game.  Led NCCU with 76 three-pointers, and shot 34.2 percent from the arc.   Made 28 of his first 31 free throws, and shot 76.0 percent from the charity stripe for the season.  Nailed five three-pointers in back-to-back games against Marshall (Nov. 22) and Illinois (Nov. 24) with 17 points against the Thundering Herd (5-16) and 17 against the Fighting Illini (5-7).  Had an 18-game streak of making a three-pointer from Dec. 11 to Feb. 26., making 43 of 121 (35.5 percent).  Scored a career-high 26 points against Southeast Missouri State (Dec. 2).  Scored 20 points again during the MEAC Tournament against Coppin State (March 6).

Prior to NCCU:
During his senior year at DeMatha the 6-3 guard helped his squad to an Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament championship with 23 points in the title game.  He was also named Class A Second Team All-New England by the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council after his time at Loomis Chaffee.

Personal: Born Sept. 12, 1997 in Prince Georges County, Maryland.  Parents are Reginald, Sr. and Jessica Gardner.  Enjoys playing basketball and watching Netflix.  Majoring in business at NCCU.
