Career Notes:
Played 71 games and started 51, averaged 25.1 minutes per game.  Nailed 149 career three-pointers to leave NCCU with the second-most made in a career in the Division-I era.  Finished top-10 in three-point percentage (34.9), total steals (76), and steals per game (1.1).

As a Redshirt Senior (2016-17)
Named MEAC Tournament’s Most Outstanding Three-Point Shooter.  Started all 34 games and averaged 29.4 minutes per game.  Averaged a career-high 9.6 points per game and knocked down 90 three-pointers, the third-most in the Division-I era at NCCU.  Led NCCU in scoring three times including a career-high 24-point performance against Jackson State (Nov. 18) where he knocked down eight treys, which is tied for the third-most in a single game.  Played 35+ minutes seven times, including a 40-minute game against JSU.  Finished the season in the MEAC top-10 in steals with a total of 41, averaging 1.2 per game.  Swiped a season-high five steals against Md. Eastern Shore (Jan. 11).

As a Redshirt Junior (2015-16)
Appeared in 31 games and started 17 and averaged 23.5 minutes per game.  Scored 7.3 points per game and was one of the top three-point shooters in the MEAC as he made a total of 57 while shooting at a rate of 38.0 percent and made 1.8 treys per game, both within the top-15 of the league.  Played 35+ minutes six times, and played 40+ minutes twice with 41 against North Carolina A&T (Feb. 6).  Was one of the team’s most active defenders with 33 steals, averaging 1.1 per game.  Led team in scoring three times, not including a career performance against Montreat (Dec. 29) where he racked up 21 points and nine steals, the second-most thefts in a single game.  Knocked down six treys twice this season (6-9 vs MVSU, Dec. 3, 6-7 at NC A&T, March 3), tied for 13th most in a single game.

As a Junior (2014-15)
Played six games before injury contributing 9.2 minutes per game and 1.2 assists per game.  Pulled down four rebounds and dished out three assists over 16 minutes against Barber-Scotia (Dec. 17).  Recieved a medical redshirt.

New Mexico Junior College (2012-2014)
Averaged 9.2 points a game including shooting 35.3 percent from three-point range in 31 games played, while averaging 14.2 minutes per contest.  Scored 20-plus points on three occasions, topped by a career-high 25 points on 7-for-10 shooting from deep against Howard College on March 7.  Scored 21 points on 7-for-8 shooting from three-point range in an 85-60 win over North Lake College.  Scored 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting from-the-outside against South Plains College.  During the NJCAA Tournament went 5-for-9 from deep in a 79-62 win over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.  Hit 73 three-pointers on the year.
 
High School (Norview High School)
Earned 2012 All-Tidewater Player of the Year honors for Norview High School.  Also named Eastern District Player of the Year, First Team All-Eastern Region, and First Team All-Eastern District after leading the Pilots to their first Eastern District Championship since 1991.  Averaged 17.0 points a game, five assists and four steals.  

Personal
Rashaun Madison is the son of Damion and Lashaun Madison.  Was born on Aug. 1, 1993 in Norfolk, Va.  Majoring in Psychology at NCCU.
