Biography

As a Freshman (2012-13)
Played in seven games, averaging 2.1 minutes per contest.  Scored his first career points on Nov. 12 vs. Johnson and Wales University and went one-for-one in the road win over Florida A&M (Jan. 12), where he recorded his first rebound at NCCU.
 
High School (Terry Sanford H.S.)
Earned All-Conference and All-District honors during his senior season, averaging 15.6 points per game along with grabbing four rebounds.  During his junior season at Norcross High School in Norcross, Ga. was a part of the 2011 5-A State Championship Squad.

Nathaniel Sims Jr. is the son of Nathaniel and Gail Sims was born on Dec. 4, 1993 in Atlanta, Ga.  Sims is majoring in Mass Communications at NCCU and wants to pursue a career in sports journalism.
