North Carolina Central University Athletics

2018:  Made a team second-most 24 appearances from the bullpen and threw 21.1 innings.  Struck out 13 batters.  Made the longest appearance of his career when he went 3.0 innings with just one earned run allowed against Davidson (May 8).  Made 17 appearances without allowing an earned run and nine without allowing a hit.  Named MEAC All-Academic.

2017:  Made 12 appearances and threw 11.2 innings with four strikeouts.  Made his longest appearance of the year against Campbell (May 10) when he threw 2.1 innings with a strikeout without allowing a hit.

Rockingham Community College (2015-16): Named to the Region All-Defensive Team in 2016.  Led the squad in strikeouts with 45 and innings pitched with 55 in his sophomore season, and tossed a pair of strikeouts.  Won Region 10 Division III Tournament in 2015 when he pitched 23.1 innings over 16 appearances.

Personal: Born Dec. 1, 1994 in Burlington, North Carolina.  Parents are Dennis and Debra Winburn.  Enjoys fishing and traveling, as well as playing and watching sports.  Majoring in social and behavioral science with a minor in business at NCCU.
