As a Redshirt Senior (2013-14)Spent majority of the season battling back from a shoulder injury that he suffered early in the season at Campbell (Nov. 18) and reinjured at IUPUI (Dec. 7). Prior to the injury bug he scored seven points and collected six rebounds during the Eagles season-opening loss at Cincinnati (Nov. 8) and collected a season-high 16 points in a victory against Johnson and Wales (Nov. 11). Late in the season he hit a shot from the field and a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe, scoring 11 points during a NCCU win at NJIT (Feb. 25).
As a Senior (2012-13)Suffered a broken foot before prior to the Saturday, Nov. 24 matchup at home against Wagner and missed the remainder of the year. Played and started in six games, averaging 17.0 minutes per affair. Scored at least one point in every game including a season-high of 12 against Toccoa Falls, where he shot 5-for-8 from the field, 2-for-3 from three-point range. Ended the year 5-for-8 (62.5 percent) from the foul line, three steals, two blocks, and averaged 5.3 points a game. Pulled down a five boards in the win over Toccoa Falls.
As a Junior (2011-12)Inserted into the starting lineup eight games into the 2011-12 season and made his mark from the get-go scoring in double figures in five of his first seven games at NCCU. His only three pointer on Nov. 16 on the road at Wagner brought the Eagles within two at 83-81 with 2:23 to go. Ended his first season at NCCU, finished the year shooting (39-for-114), 34.2% from three-point range. Scored in double figures 15 times that included a career-high 25 points in a near upset of East Carolina on Dec. 29. In that contest, he went 10-for-18 (55.6%) from the field, 5-for-7 (71.4%) from three-point range. His five treys in that contest were a career-high. Hit at least one three-pointer in 19 games. Finished the year fifth on the team in scoring 8.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Shot 41.7% (90-of-216) from the field. Scored back-to-back 18-point performances in the final two contests of the 2011 Global Sports Hoops Showcase in Eugene, Ore. Shot a combined 5-for-11 (45.4%) from three-point range in wins over Stephen F. Austin and Prairie View A&M. Grabbed at least one rebound in all but two games including a career-high 7 boards against East Carolina. Had six rebounds on the road at Savannah State.
Sophomore (2010-11: McLennan Community College)
Averaged 9.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 33 games for McLennan Community College.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2009-10)
Averaged 2.7 points and 1.4 rebounds while appearing in 28 games at the University of Georgia.
As a Freshman (2008-09)
Stress fracture in right tibia, and the subsequent surgery to repair it, forced Anyaorah to miss entire season and take a redshirt. Injury occurred just before the start of pre-season practice. Practiced with the Bulldogs during the latter stages of the `09 season.
High School
Averaged 26.3 points, second-best in Gwinnett County behind fellow UGA freshman Howard Thompkins of the Wesleyan School, and 8.3 rebounds last season for North Gwinnett, which went 14-12 overall. Had a career scoring high of 43 points. Named to the 5A All-State team last season by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Assn. Also named to the North squad for the annual GACA All-Star game. Also participated in football at North Gwinnett. Played small forward as a 10th grader, averaging 12 points per game, before moving to shooting guard for his last two seasons. Averaged 16 points and 5.0 rebounds in 2007.
