Biography

As a Senior (2021-22)
Made 24 appearances with 11 starts, and averaged 13.4 minutes per game.  Averaged 5.0 points per game with 33 assists, and shot 38.0 percent from the perimeter.  Started the season on a six-game hot streak with a pair of 4-for-4 first-half three-point performances against Richmond (Nov. 9) and Warren Wilson (Nov. 23).  Shot 53.8 percent (14-for-26) from the arc during that stretch, and averaged 9.7 points per outing.  Reached career-highs of 17 points twice, against Richmond and Norfolk State (Jan. 31).

As a Junior (2020-21)
Played six games, and averaged 10.3 minutes per game.  Averaged 3.7 points per outing, and shot 6-for-6 from the free throw line.  Scored a season-high 11 points against Florida A&M (March 3), and went 4-for-9 from the field.

Prior to NCCU:
Southeast Missouri State (2018-20): Played 31 games with 29 starts, and averaged 31.2 minutes per game in two seasons.  Shot 40.5 percent from the floor and 35.5 percent from the arc.  Led the Redhawks with 11.7 points and 3.1 assists per game as a sophomore in the 2019-20 campaign, and ranked top-20 in the Ohio Valley Conference in both categories.  Had 20 games of scoring 10+ points and two 20+-point performances including a career-high 29 points on the road at Morehead State.  Made 75 three-pointers in two seasons, and nailed a career-best five triples as a freshman on the way to 15 points against Quincy.

High School (Wilson H.S.): Scored over 1,000 points in his career and was named Class 4A Player of the Year as a senior in 2017-18, and averaged 22 points, seven assists, and five rebounds and helped lead his squad to a 20-4 record on the way to the state final.  Also named to the USA TODAY High School Sports American Family Insurance ALL-USA South Carolina Boys Basketball Team that year.  Named to the ALL-USA First Team alongside fellow South Carolina native, and future NBA first overall pick, Zion Williamson.  Averaged 14 points, nine assists, five rebounds, and 2.5 steals as a junior in 2016-17, as his team went 21-1 on the way to the state final.
