North Carolina Central University Athletics

2020: Appeared in 11 games with 10 starts.  Collected four hits and scored four runs with three RBI.  Had the second-most walks on the team with eight, and held a .310 on-base percentage.  Made 22 putouts, plus two assists from the outfield, and held a 1.000 fielding percentage.

2019: Made 44 appearances and 43 starts.  Had 36 hits including six doubles and drove in 11 RBI.  Touched home 24 times and drew an NCCU freshman record 44 walks and had the second-highest on base percentage for an NCCU freshman at .437.  Finished with the second-most walks in a single season at NCCU in the modern era.  Finished the regular season 11th in NCAA Division I in walks per game at 1.0, and led the MEAC in walks.  Finished fifth in the MEAC in on base percentage, and tied for sixth in stolen bases with 14.  Finished seventh in the MEAC with a .991 fielding percentage.  Had 10 multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game.  Held a 17-game streak of reaching base safely.  Had one of his best games of the year when he went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored at Savannah State on March 22.

Jordan H.S.: Three-time All-Conference selection and 2018 NCBCA 4A All-State team member.  Won two conference championships.

Personal: Born July 5, 2000.  Parents are Kurt and Annette Leopold.  Goal is to become a professional baseball player.  Majoring in business administration with a minor in management at NCCU.
