CAREER (2010-13)
Set NCCU record with a career pass completion percentage of 55.9. Finished career ranked eighth on NCCU's passing list with 3,524 yards, seventh in career pass completions with 334, and eighth in total offense with 3,842 total yards. Completed 334-of-597 passes (55.9 percent) for 3,524 yards and 19 touchdowns, while rushing 233 times for 318 yards and nine scores. Appeared in 40 games for the Eagles, 19 as the starting quarterback (First start at Savannah State, Nov. 13, 2010; started final eight games of 2012 season, started 10 games in 2013).
2013 – SENIOR SEASON
Appeared in all 12 games, including 10 as the starting quarterback. Named as one of 22 college football student-athletes across the country to the
2013 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. Announced a semifinalist for
National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete Award. Completed 137-of-274 passes for 1,505 yards and 4 touchdowns. Rushed for 160 yards and 5 touchdowns. Threw for a career-high 292 yards and 2 touchdowns on 25-of-46 passing versus No. 4 Towson (Sept. 21). Selected to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Preseason All-Conference Second Team.
2012 – JUNIOR SEASON
Appeared in all 11 games, including the final eight as the starting quarterback. Broke NCCU single-season record by completing 62.3 percent of his passes (154 of 247). Threw for 1,594 yards to rank 13th in the NCCU single-season passing yards list. Named MEAC Offensive Player of the Week after amassing 266 passing yards on 29-for38 passing, including the game-winning touchdown with 25 seconds left to beat Morgan State (Oct. 13). Threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns on 22-for-34 passing at Savannah State (Sept. 22), while also rushing for 39 yards and catching a 26-yard pass. Recorded 218 passing yards in a relief appearance at Duke (Sept. 15). Passed for 193 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Hampton (Oct. 18) on Thursday night live on ESPNU. Completed at least one touchdown pass in each of his eight starts. Ran for touchdowns at Duke, vs. S.C. State and at Florida A&M.
2011 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in 10 games as a quarterback and holder. Threw a pass in four games. Completed 14-of-23 passes for 120 yards with an interception. Long completion of 20 yards. Rushed for 73 yards on 28 carries. Passed for season-high 61 yards on 6-of-12 passing and rushed for 39 yards on 12 attempts versus Morgan State (Oct. 15). Completed 4-of-5 passes for 24 yards at Rutgers (Sept. 1) and 3-of-5 passes for 32 yards against Central State (Sept. 10) inside Cleveland Browns Stadium.
2010 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in seven games at quarterback, including a start at Savannah State (Nov. 13). Threw for 305 yards and two touchdowns on 29-of-53 passing with a long toss of 50 yards. Rushed 29 times for 90 yards and a touchdown. Completed 18-of-27 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while rushing for a team-high 70 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown, versus Old Dominion (Nov. 20). In first college start, completed 3-of-4 passes for 68 yards at Savannah State (Nov. 13).
2009 - REDSHIRT SEASON (WSSU)
Sat out the 2009 season as a redshirt at Winston-Salem State University after suffering an injury during preseason camp.
T.W. ANDREWS HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year starter and all-conference pick. Threw for more than 2,500 yards during high school career. Senior season (2008) cut short due to injury, but still passed for 500 yards and six touchdowns in two-and-a-half games.
