As a Redshirt Sophomore (2012-13)
Played in 21 games and started in five contests.  Averaged 7.9 minutes a game, while dropping in 1.6 points a game.  Grabbed 42 rebounds (2.0 boards per game) and shot 11-of-19 from the field (57.9 percent).  In nine minutes against Savannah State on March 2, his highlight reel dunk over an SSU player gave the maroon and gray a huge jolt in a big MEAC win.  Scored a season-high five points and recorded five rebounds in a victory over Johnson and Wales.  Pulled down a season-high nine rebounds in a home win over Florida A&M.  Scored at least one point in 13 appearances, and pulled down at least one rebound in 15 games.  Also had seven rebounds in a road victory over South Carolina State. 

As a Sophomore (2011-12)
Sat out and redshirted last season due to an injury will have three years of eligibility remaining

Wabash Valley College
Averaged 8.7 points, 4.8 rebounds in 28 games played along with 16 blocks. Finished the 2010-11 season shooting at 66.1 percent from the floor which was tops on the team.

High School (Marion H.S.)
Excelled for the Giants during his career being a part of a team that finished as a state runner-up in 2008 on a squad that finished 24-5 winning the North Central Conference title. That championship game pitting NC State’s Scott Wood, Wright State guard Julius Mays, and Gordon Hayward of the Utah Jazz. Williams also garnered All-Conference and All-County honors during his tenure at Marion. Averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds in his senior season.

DavRon Flinn Williams is the son of Ann Jones-Black and Kevin J. Black. He has two sisters Natasha and Anyah. He was born on June 21, 1991 in Marion, Indiana. He is Majoring in Business with a minor in Marketing at NCCU.
