2010: Made 14 appearances which was fifth on the team in his second season logging 23.0 innings and finishing second on the roster with a 7.83 ERA. Also was second on the squad as opposing batters were just .336 at the plate. Was third on the team with just 20 earned runs allowed. Struck out nine while walking just seven batters. Season-best three strikeouts on April 11 against Savannah State University.

2009: Made 15 appearances in his rookie campaign, which tied for third on the team, while getting 2 starts on the season. Threw 33.0 innings with a team-low 6.00 ERA. Struck out 12 batters which was sixth-best mark on the squad, while walking 9. His first start at NCCU came on March 10 against Coppin State, where he went 6.0 innings, allowing only 4 hits, 2 earned runs with 3 strike outs, earning his first career win. On May 5 at Winthrop tossed 3.2 innings, scattering 6 hits and allowing only 1 run with 2 strike outs. Made one start at second base against Appalachian State (April 30) collecting his first career hit on a 1-for-3 effort at the plate. Also had 2 assists in the infield.

High School (Knightdale H.S.): Played 3 years of varsity baseball. Made just four errors his last two seasons while playing shortstop and second base. Lettered in varsity football for three years. A part of the first class to ever graduate from the high school.

Personal: Born June 11, 1989, in Raleigh, N.C. Parents are Thomas and Tami Rennard. Major at NCCU is Physical Education with a concentration on Parks and Recreation.
