North Carolina Central University Athletics

2014:  Named to All-MEAC Academic Team. Earned MEAC Pitcher of the Week honors (April 7).  Pitched 75.2 innings in 13 appearances that included 12 starts on-the-hill.  Finished second in the MEAC with 69 strikeouts with only 16 walks issued, along with four complete games to his resume.  Earned his first win of the season in a sensational outing against Bethune-Cookman on March 8 when he threw 6.0 innings and allowed one earned run in the Eagle’s 3-2 win over the Wildcats.  Threw a complete game shutout on April 5 against arch-rival NC A&T by scattering three hits with a career-best nine K’s in the 4-0 win.  Struck out at least three batters in every appearance and mowed down five or more batters in seven of the 13 appearances.    

2013: Ended his first year at NCCU with a 5-6 record overall, and a 4.43 ERA in 13 appearances and 12 starts. Finished third on the team throwing 81.1 innings, tied for second in starts (12), and second in strikeouts with 50. Threw his first career complete game shutout in the 10-0 victory over NC A&T allowing only four hits with three strikeouts, which earned him MEAC Co-Pitcher of the Week honors for that week. Earned his first NCCU win by throwing 3.1 innings surrendering one hit with seven strikeouts in the 11-4 Eagle win over NJIT. His most complete performance of the year came in the series finale against NC A&T where he went 8.2 surrendering six hits and two earned runs with five strikeouts. Recorded at least one strikeout in all but two appearances that included a season-high of eight in a 5-4 win against Florida A&M. Went 7.0 innings scattering eight hits, gave up just two runs in a 10-4 win over Maryland Eastern Shore in the 2013 MEAC Tournament. In all of his starts lasted at least 7.0 innings eight times.

Western Nebraska CC: He made the Dean’s list in both of the years he attended the Community College. He was named the Top Pitcher in Region IX in the summer of 2012.

High School (Davidson School): Participated on Team Saskatchewan Canada Cup in the Summer Games.

Personal: Born December 25, 1991, in Davidson, Saskatchewan. Parents are Murray and Norah McNabb. Major at NCCU is Physical Education in Fitness and Wellness.
