Biography

High School (Jordan-Matthews H.S.): Earned all-conference honors multiple times.  Didn’t allow an earned run and struck out 17 batters in nine innings of work in his senior season.  Tossed 116 strikeouts in 102 innings, and held a 2.86 ERA in his first two seasons.  Also batted .326 with 43 hits, and collected 30 RBI with 10 doubles and one home run in the same span.  Was an honor roll student.

Personal: Born in Siler City, North Carolina.  Parents are David and Nicole Murchison.  Enjoys playing baseball, fishing, cooking, and hanging out with friends and family.  Majoring in business administration with a minor in management at NCCU.
