North Carolina Central University Athletics

2013:  Played in 33 contests and started in 24 games in his junior season at NCCU.  Finished the season batting .221 with 17 hits in 77 at-bats with a double, seven runs scored, and one RBI.  Highlight series of the year came against NC A&T on March 2-3 where he went 5-for-10 with three walks and three RBI against the Aggies.  Ended up 2-for-4 with a run scored in game one of the twinbill against Virginia State.  Recorded his first career double on march 23 against Florida A&M.  In his NCCU debut went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.  Did not commit a single error in the outfield. 
 
Brunswick CC:  Participated on the Region X Tournament Runner-Up team, as a leadoff hitter, Collins hit .307 with five doubles, a triple, a home run and 24 RBI.  Also went 14-for-20 in stolen bases.   
 
High School (East Bladen H.S.):  All Conference in both football and baseball, won senior Male Athlete of the Year, batted .508 and stole 33 bases.
