2009: Played in 38 contests (fourth best on the team), starting in 34 primarily at second base with 22 starts, while making 6 starts at third base, and the other 6 at the designated hitter position. Finished the year tops on the team in RBIs (15). Ended up second on the squad in slugging percentage (.419), on-base percentage (.379), hits (35), hit-by-pitch (8), stolen bases (9), and stolen base attempts (14). Also finished third on the team with 49 hits, fourth in runs scored (15),at-bats (117). In the field, first on the squad with 66 assists, and second in being a part of 11 double plays. In a pinch-hitting role, went 1-for-1 with a two-run double in the season opening contest on Feb. 20 against Savannah State. Began the season with a .375 batting average, managing to get a hit in the first three games. Had a four-game hitting streak from March 8-March 17, where he went 7-15 (.467) with 3 doubles and 1 RBI. April 18-21, went 4-for-8 with 3 runs scored and five RBI, including a 2-run blast against Elon on April 18. Had a nt 3-game hitting on 3 different occasions during the season. Ended the year on a six-game hitting streak 10-for-20 (.500 avg, 5 runs, 3 RBIs, 2 doubles, and 1 triple). 2008: Ended the year stealing six bases on six attempts. One of two players on the team not to get caught stealing (Jerel Campbell 2-2). Tied for third on the team in doubles (2). Fifth on team with .952 fielding percentage. Finished sixth on the squad with 4 RBIs. Made 20 starts primarily at second base and had 36 putouts, committing just 3 errors. Hit 2-for-4 against St. Augustine[apos]s with 2 RBIs and a double. Hit 1-for-3 scoring 2 runs against Coppin State on March 11. Went 2-for-3 with an RBI-single against Savannah State on March 15 seeing his batting average soar to .375. 2007: Named to CIAA All-Rookie Team. Ranked fourth on the team in batting average (.328), fourth in runs scored (31), fifth in hits (41), fourth in doubles (7), and third in stolen bases (33 of 35). Ranked ninth in the nation (NCAA Division II) in stolen bases per game (0.79). High School (Riverdale H.S.): As a senior, received Team MVP and Most Outstanding Infielder awards.
