2016:  Redshirted.

2015:  Appeared in 12 games and started four.  Hit a career-high two home runs and slugged .563 over 16 at bats.  Made three appearances as a pinch runner.  Went 2-for-3 against Gardner-Webb (March 10) with a home run and a walk.

2014:  Named to 2014 All-MEAC Academic Team.  Played in 42 games making 41 starts in his sophomore season.  Finished the year batting .248 on the year with 33 hits.  Had six multi-hit games on the year and was sixth with four multi-RBI contests.  Went 4-for-8 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI in the doubleheader against Coppin State on March 11.  In the series finale against arch-rival North Carolina A&T went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBIs as the Eagle finished off the sweep of the Aggies.  With 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, and three runs scored against Longwood on March 5, a game in which the maroon and gray came back from a 9-1 deficit to win 16-12.

2013:  Saw limited action in his rookie season at NCCU playing in 12 games.  Made four plate appearances going 1-for-4 on the year, but subbed in as a pinch runner on nine occasions scoring five runs.  Recorded his first collegiate hit on April 1 at UNCG.
 
High School (Overhills H.S.): Named Honorable Mention Cape Fear Valley Conference in 2011.

Personal: Born August 28, 1994 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Son of Curt and Saun. Has one brother Jarell Finch. He is a Computer Information Systems major at NCCU.
