North Carolina Central University Athletics

2018:  Mad a MEAC third-most and NCCU single-season record-tying 28 appearances with three starts and pitched 41.0 innings.  Locked down a career-best six saves, the third-most in the league, and third-most in a single season at NCCU.  Fanned 49 batters, the fourth-most on the staff at NCCU.  Had an average of 10.76 strikeouts per nine innings, the fourth most in a season at NCCU.  Kept a 3.95 ERA and a .271 opposing batting average.  Had two wins, including when he pitched three perfect innings with four strikeouts to close out a victory against NJIT (Feb. 24).  Made 20 appearances without allowing an earned run, and eight without allowing a hit.  Named MEAC All-Academic.

2017:  Made a team third-most 23 appearances from the bullpen, which was also top-10 in the MEAC.  Pitched 26.2 innings with 33 strikeouts.  Held the team’s second-best ERA with a 4.05.  Tied for the team lead in wins with a 4-1 record, and was top-10 in the MEAC with three saves.  Was the winning pitcher of record in back-to-back games to start the season against Navy (Feb. 18), pitching a combined 2.1 innings with two strikeouts while allowing just a single baserunner.  Made his second-longest appearance of his career by pitching 3.1 innings in a win against Iona (Feb. 26) by allowing just one hit with three strikeouts.  Made 14 appearances without allowing an earned run, and nine without giving up a hit.  MEAC All-Academic Team selection.

2016:  Made a team-high 28 appearances from the bullpen, and was tied for most on the team with a career-high four saves.  Pitched 31.0 innings with 17 strikeouts for a 4.65 ERA and a 3-3 record.  Finished third in the league in saves and tied for second in appearances.  Went his first 10 appearances without allowing an earned run, and made 20 total appearances without allowing an earned run, and nine without allowing a hit.  Made his longest appearance of the year by pitching three and two-thirds of an innings without allowing a single baserunner with two strikeouts in a win over Bethune-Cookman (March 20).  Set the modern era single-season record for appearances, and finished tied for fourth in saves.

2015:  Made three appearances from the bullpen in rookie season.  Notched first career strikeout in first appearance at Duke (Feb. 25).  Made longest appearance of the year against Virginia State (April 1) pitching two complete innings and allowed two hits with three strikeouts.
