2009: Made 14 appearances and a team-high 11 starts. One of three Eagles to throw a complete game (Brandon Strickland and Brandon Oatis). Finished the year fourth on the team with 20 strike outs, while finishing fifth with 20 walks issued. Tossed the fourth-most innings by throwing 42.0 innings. Was the pitcher of record for NCCU[apos]s first Division I win with a gutsy 6.0 inning effort where he struck out 3 batters in his first win of the season. March 17 at NC State threw 3.1 innings surrendering just 4 hits and 1 earned run while mowing down 3 batters. Struck out 3 or more batters 4 times including a season-high of 4 against Norfolk State (Feb. 21), also mowed down at least one batter in 11 of 14 of his outings. Played first base in the late innings at Coppin State (April 13) reached on a walk in the 11th inning, and later scored. Finished 0-for-1 at the plate for the season. Also took the field at third base at Savannah State (March 22) and struck out in his only at-bat. 2008: Workhorse of the pitching staff throwing a team-high 57.1 innings. Struck out 24 batters good enough for third-best on the squad. Sat down a season-high four batters against Campbell on March 25 in six innings. High School (Southeast Raleigh HS): Senior season on the mound, went 6-3 and sported a 2.55 ERA. Earned Greater Neuse River All Conference Honors his junior and senior seasons.
