Biography

High School (Bunn H.S.): Enjoyed a stellar two-sport career where he earned All-Conference honors five total times, two times in baseball and three in football. During his junior season (2007-08) batted .379, scoring 25 runs on 22 hits with for 26 RBIs. Tied for the Wildcat lead with five doubles and hit five home runs to also lead the team. Personal: Born on December 17, 1990 in Bunn, N.C. Jake is the son of Kent and Beth Winstead. Majoring in Criminal Justice at NCCU.
