Biography

High School (Wheatmore H.S.): Set the NCHSAA state record for most consecutive stolen bases with 63 from 2017-18, and ranks top-20 in state history with stolen bases in a single season twice with 30 in 2019, and 31 in 2018.  Also tied for fourth-most stolen bases in a game with seven.  Was a two-sport athlete and earned two all-conference honors in baseball, and one in football.

Personal: Born in Farmville, Virginia.  Parents are John and April Hernández.  Enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, listening to music, and gaming.  Favorite food is tacos.  Favorite artists are George Strait, Tyler Childers, and Matchbox Twenty.  Majoring in business administration at NCCU.
