North Carolina Central University Athletics

2010: Finished the season with a career-high 16 RBIs on the team which was good enough for for fourth best on the team. Ended his third season in maroon and gray with a .222 batting average which was ninth on the roster. Tied with three other members for fourth on the squad with five doubles on the season registered season-highs in that category. Played in 42 games while starting 35 of 47 contests in the outfield. In his first start of the season against Navy (Feb. 21), went 1-for-4 with an RBI against the Midshipmen. Managed to go 2-for-3 against rival North Carolina A&T with a run scored. From March 27 to April 8 had a hit in seven of eight games. One of his best days at the plate came against Savannah State University going 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Hit his lone home run of the season against No. 24 East Carolina. Ended the season with an RBI in the last three games. Had seven RBIs in the last nine games. Had at least one RBI in 13 of the last 26 games including a 1-for-2 effort with a two-run double and a run scored against Campbell on May 1.

2009: Ended his second season at NCCU by participating in the fifth-most games (37) and starting in the fourth-most contests on the team (36). Finished the year second in RBIs (13) and walks (15). At the plate went 28-of-110 for a .255 batting average, good enough for fifth on the squad. Also completed his second season at NCCU with the fifth-best on-base percentage, .354. In the field, boasted the highest fielding percentage on the team (.978) along with only 1 error in the outfield. Started the home schedule off with a bang, with solo shot to right field, and a single to left field , adding to a 2-for-4 day at the plate with his first 2 RBIs of the season. Started the season with a six-game hitting streak batting .471 at-the-plate. Recorded his lone double of the season against Campbell University on March 11 in a 2-for-4 effort. April 9-13 went 5-for-13 (.384) in a 3-game span with 3 RBIs and 3 walks. Also used his strong arm to throw out a Coppin State runner, potential game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th. April 24 vs. Florida A&M went 2-for-5 at-the-dish with 2 RBIs. Ended his second season at NCCU with a five-game hitting streak going 5-for-15 with a .333 batting average and his final 2 RBIs of the year during that span.

2008: Appeared in 17 games, making five starts. Finished the year with two hits and 1 RBI in limited reserve action.

High School (Scotland H.S): Played one year of varsity. Lettered in basketball two years for the Fighting Scots. Team finished 20-6 on the season.

Personal: Born on August 28, 1989. Parents are Debbie Pegues and Edward Marshall. Majoring in Secondary Education at NCCU.
