2010: Ended his first season at NCCU third on the squad in ERA (10.27). Thrown into the No. 1 starter role for the Eagles and debuted in the season opener against Iona going five strong innings allowing just three hits and one earned run and three strikeouts. Best performance of the season came on March 20 at Coppin State where Robinson threw six innings scattering three hits struck out three and allowed no earned runs in a 1-0 loss to the host Eagles. Pitched 4.0 strong innings against No. 24 East Carolina (March 27) surrendering just three earned runs with two strikeouts. Finished with 19 strikeouts good enough for fifth on the team.

Prior to NCCU (Southeast Community College): Member of the 2009 Region 10 Division II Championship squad that boasted a No. 11 ranking nationally in the NJCAA Division II.

High School (Union Pines H.S.): Was named All-Conference in football his senior year while also garnering all-league honors in baseball his junior year. Was a member of the Cape Fear Valley Conference championship baseball team his senior year.

Personal: Since bringing the sport back in 2006, Drew is the tallest player at NCCU (6’6”) since Tye Gray. Drew is the son of Greg and Lisa Robinson. Was born on November 16, 1988 in Pinehurst, N.C.and has two younger brothers Lucas and Kyle. Majoring in History at NCCU with a concentration in English
