North Carolina Central University Athletics

2010: Participated in 40 games while starting in 36 in his first season at NCCU. Showed his offensive ability from the get-go by leading the team with three home runs, tying for second with 17 RBIs, and finished ninth on the team with a .222 batting average. Got hits in his first three games of his career with a 1-for-4 effort in three straight games (Iona, Delaware State, and Navy). Hit his first career home run against Presbyterian on March 12. His best performance at the plate came on March 30 against Virginia State when he went 3-for-6 at the dish with two home runs (one being a grand-slam) three runs scored and five RBIs. Went 3-for-3 at Davidson on April 17 with a double, two RBIs, and a run scored. Hit his second double of the season against Campbell which drove in two runs. From March 28 to April 4 amassed a six-game hitting streak going 10-for-23 with three runs scored and six RBIs and two home runs. Went 12-for-47 (.255) with runners in scoring position, 3-for-7 (.429) with a runner on third and less than two outs.

High School (North Miami Beach H.S.): Excelled on and off the field for the Chargers, especially his junior season where he batted .321 with four doubles, one triple, three home runs, and 19 RBIs. Garnered All-County recognition. In the classroom was a National Honor Roll member.

Personal: Born December 20, 1990, in Miami, Fla. He is the son of Dudley and Alexis Parker. Majoring in Hospitality and Tourism at NCCU.
