Brad Mincey

Brad Mincey joined North Carolina Central University in 2019 after coaching the Holly Springs Salamanders in the Coastal Plains League during the 2019 season.  He also served as the assistant coach of Fayetteville Tech during its inaugural season in 2019.
 
Prior to that, Mincey coached the high school showcase program, Rock Solid, in Wilmington, North Carolina, from 2016-18.  While with Rock Solid, he helped coach and develop 53 high school players that went on to play at the collegiate level, including a first-round selection in the MLB draft.
 
Mincey played baseball professionally from 2011-15 as a member of the Miami Marlins organization, and reached the High-A level.  He also played one year in the American Association, an independent baseball league.
Mincey graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from East Carolina University, where he played for four years from 2008-11. During his time at East Carolina, he played in three regionals and one super regional in 2009 in Chapel Hill, while collected two all-conference selections in 2009 and 2011.
