North Carolina Central University Athletics

2020: One of two Eagles to appear in all 17 games, and the only player to start in each.  Knocked 13 hits with five doubles, one triple, and one home run for a .377 slugging percentage.  Made a team-high 33 assists as a middle infielder with 20 putouts, and marked a .930 fielding percentage.  Had his best game of the season against Niagara on Feb. 22 when he went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple, and one RBI.

Prior to NCCU:
Guilford Tech: Played 34 games and batted .325 as a sophomore in 2019, and totaled 39 hits.  Lifted nine doubles and one home run for 15 RBI, and slugged .425 with 30 runs scored.  Led his team in hits, doubles, runs, and stolen bases with 12.  Walked 14 times and marked a .418 on-base percentage.

North Greenville University: Played 18 games as a freshman and batted .273 with six hits, nine runs, and three RBI in 2018.  Stole two bases and had a .357 on-base percentage.

High School (Panther Creek H.S.): Named Second Team All-SWAC in his senior year, and was a teammate of current Eagle Bryceson Hernandez.

Personal: Born November 30, 1998 in Durham, North Carolina.  Parents are Eric and Vicki Norgren.  Enjoys watching movies, listening to music, hanging out with friends and family, and dancing.  His favorite team is the Buffalo Bills, and his favorite movie is Dazed and Confused.  Majoring in behavioral and social sciences with a concentration in business at NCCU.
