North Carolina Central University Athletics

2020: Made five appearances with two starts.  Pitched 11.0 innings and kept a 1.64 ERA with 15 strikeouts.  Held batters to a .200 batting average against.  Made his first career start at High Point of Feb. 25, and pitched 3.1 innings with three strikeouts and one earned run.  Tossed a career-high seven strikeouts in 3.2 innings during a start against Youngstown State with one earned run on March 7.

2019: Made 13 appearances.  Pitched 14 innings with 19 strikeouts.  Made his best appearance when he pitched three innings with five strikeouts and just two hits and one earned run allowed against Duke on April 23.  Made eight appearances without allowing an earned run and nine appearances without allowing a hit.  Made three appearances without allowing a single base runner, including a two-inning outing against Duke with two strikeouts on April 9.

Personal: Born September 30, 1999.  Parents are James and Stacy McRoy.  Enjoys cars, singing, and watching sports.  Majoring in business administration with a minor in marketing at NCCU.
