North Carolina Central University Athletics

2020: Made eight appearances, and nailed down a league-lead tying three saves.  Kept a 1.59 ERA over 11.1 innings, and struck out 12 batters.  Made seven appearances without allowing an earned run, and three without allowing a hit.  Tossed a season-high three strikeouts over 2.0 innings with one hit allowed against Radford on Feb. 15.  Made his longest appearance of the year when he pitched 2.2 innings with two strikeouts against Niagara on Feb. 23. 

2019: Made 19 appearances with eight starts and two wins.  Pitched 51 innings with 37 strikeouts.  Collected a season-high five strikeouts in a start against Lafayette over five innings pitched with just three hits on March 2.  Pitched a season-high 5.1 innings twice against North Carolina A&T (March 9) and Savannah State (March 23).

Prior to NCCU:
Murray State College: Made 12 appearances with four starts and won three games in 2018.  Pitched 31.2 innings with 35 strikeouts.  Made 15 appearances with 14 starts and won four games in 2017.  Pitched two complete games and tossed 60 innings with 45 strikeouts. 

Personal: Born October 1, 1997.  Parents are Micha and Laura Bell.  Enjoys playing Fortnite, listening to podcasts, meditation and pizza.  Majoring in interdisciplinary studies at NCCU.
