Biography

2011:  Did not compete in the 2011 Season.
 
2010: 
Showed vast improvement at-the-plate with career-best numbers with a .241 batting average, 34 hits (fifth), 18 runs (fifth), four doubles (tied-fifth), 17 RBIs (Second on the team), and 41 total bases(fifth).  On March 10 hit his first career home run against Norfolk State.  Finished fifth on the roster with seven stolen bases.  In the March 10 doubleheader against Norfolk State went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, two runs scored, and a walk.  Sported a six-game hitting streak from March 16 to March 24 going 7-for-20 at-the-dish with an RBI and a run scored.  One of best days at the play came on March 30 against Virginia State as Wilson went 3-for-6 with two RBIs and two runs scored.  On April 8 and 10 went 5-for-7 with four RBIs and four runs scored against both Longwood and Savannah State University.  Ended his second year at NCCU with a three-game hitting streak after collecting five hits in 14 at-bats four RBIs and four runs scored.  
 
2009:  Made an impact in his first collegiate campaign.  Started the season at shortstop, making 15 starts there and switched over to second base, starting 15 times on the year.  Batted anywhere from the leadoff spot to the three spot and from the fifth slot down to eighth in the lineup.  Finished his first season tied for third on the team with 4 hit-by-pitches, fourth on the squad with 11 walks on the season, fifth in stolen bases (5) and doubles (3) .  At the plate finished the year ninth on the team in batting average .211 going 19-for-90 at the dish with five RBIs.  Had an on-base percentage of .318.  Got his first career RBI in his debut (Feb. 20 vs. Savannah State, 1-for-5 with an RBI).  February 24 at Davidson hit his first career double while going 2-for-4 at the dish with a run scored.  Hit an RBI-double against Savannah State on March 7.  Went 1-for-4 with 2 RBI against UNC Wilmington (March 18).  2-for-4 with 2 runs and 3 stolen bases in two games (March 23 vs. NC A&T and March 25 vs. Virginia State).  Best series of the season came on April 17-18 at Elon, where he went 4-for-6 scoring 2 runs.  3-for-7 at the plate in a doubleheader at UNCW.  

High School (Riverdale Baptist H.S.):  Named Pre-Season All-State heading into his senior season.  Made the Old Line All-Conference Team, while also garnering All-County honors his junior and senior year. 

Personal: Born October 23 1990, in Silver Spring, Maryland.  He is the son of Anthony and Randy Wilson.  Has a brother, Brian Barnes, and a sister, Jasmine Wilson.  Amassed a 3.12 GPA in his first semester at NCCU.  Major is Mass Communication with a concentration on Communication Studies.
