2007: Voted to All-CIAA Team and CIAA All-Rookie Team as a pitcher. Two-time selection as the CIAA Pitcher of the Week. Topped conference with nine victories (9-6) and 71 strikeouts. Appeared in 17 games, including 14 as a starter. Tossed eight complete games with one shutout. Earned run average of 4.36 in 95.0 innings pitched. Held opposition to a .244 batting average. High School (Southeast Raleigh H.S.): Selected All-Conference as a senior. Pitched a four-hit, one-earned run game against Clayton H.S. and went 2-for-2 at the plate with a double and a home run.
