Biography
As a Redshirt Junior (2020-21)
Played 11 games with five starts, and averaged 21.1 minutes per game. Scored 9.7 points per game, and led the MEAC with a 44.4 percent success rate from three. Knocked down 20 three-pointers, and shot 78.9 percent from the free throw line. Shot 40.9 percent from the field. Scored in double-digits five times, including a season-high 16 points against South Carolina State on Feb. 2. Also knocked down three treys on three occasions.
Prior to NCCU:
La Salle (2017-19): Played 37 games with three starts as an Explorer, and scored a total of 178 points over 440 minutes. Shot 38.5 percent from the floor and 37.6 from the perimeter in two years. Averaged 5.2 points per game as a freshman and shot 44.7 percent from the field and 43.1 percent from the arc. Scored a career-high 19 points twice against Bucknell as a sophomore, and Davidson as a freshman.
High School (Bishop McNamara): Was rated a four-star recruit and 11th-best player in the state of Maryland by ESPN.com in the class of 2017. Helped his squad to two State Final Four appearances, and averaged 18.6 points per game as a junior. Named First Team All-WCAC as a junior, and nailed 66 career three-pointers. Scored a career-high 35 points with six treys against Paul VI. Scored 17.4 points per game as a sophomore. Did not play his senior year.
Personal: Born in Wilmington, Delaware. Parents are Jeran Moultrie and Dawn Poller. Enjoys listening to music, playing video games, food, and traveling. He is the oldest of five siblings. Majoring in criminal justice at NCCU.
