Biography

Career: Appeared in 73 games and started 71 to tie for fifth-most all-time in a career at NCCU.  Ranks 11th at NCCU in three-pointers made with 122 at a 36.2 percent clip.  Top 25 in free throws made with 229, and made 80.1 percent of attempts.  Preseason Second Team All-MEAC selection in 2019-20.  Selected to HBCU All-Star Game.

As a Graduate Senior (2021-22)
Started all 31 games, and averaged 28.4 minutes per game.  Scored 10.8 points per game, and shot 34.2 percent from downtown.  Drilled six threes on his way to 23 points against Delaware State at the Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic in Newark, N.J. on Dec. 18.  Scored 20+ points three times, including another 23-point performance at Alabama State to help the Eagles force overtime on Nov. 20.  Named Preseason Second Team All-MEAC.  Graduated with a degree in behavioral and social sciences at NCCU.

At Indiana State (2020-21)
Started six games in 25 appearances with the Sycamores, and averaged 6.4 points and 20.6 minutes per game.  He also continued to shoot well from the arc, as he knocked down 30.4 percent of his attempts (21-for-69).

As a Senior (2019-20)
Appeared in and started eight games before injury, and played 29.5 minutes per game.  Averaged 14.3 points per game, and shot 38.1 percent from the arc.  Scored a career-high 29 points with five three-pointers against USC Upstate on Nov. 11.  Scored 20 points at Youngstown State as well as he went 11-for-12 from the free throw line on Nov. 19.  Preseason Second Team All-MEAC.

As a Junior (2018-19)
Appeared in all 34 games and started 32, and averaged 28.6 minutes per game.  Finished second on the team with 13.3 points per game, and landed top-15 in the MEAC in that category.  Ranked top-10 in the league in three-point field goal percentage at 37.1, and in threes made per game with 1.9.  Also finished top-10 in the MEAC in free throw percentage at a team-best 80.7.  Knocked down a total of 66 threes to land tied for the 10th-most in a single season at NCCU.  Scored a season-high 27 points when he went 7-for-8 from the arc against Morgan State, registering the most threes made in a game since 2017 on January 21.  Had two stretches of scoring 20+ points in three consecutive games, from November 13-18, and January 21-28.  Averaged 20.7 points and shot 60.9 percent (14-for-23) from the arc and 60.6 percent (20-for-33) from the floor in the first stretch against Cincinnati, Bowling Green, and Warren Wilson.  Averaged 23.3 points and shot 62.2 percent (23-37) from the floor and 60.9 (14-for-23) in the second stretch against MEAC foes Morgan State, North Carolina A&T and Savannah State.  Pulled down a season-high seven rebounds against North Carolina A&T on January 26, and dished out a season-best five assists against Warren Wilson on November 18.


Prior to NCCU:

Moberly Area C.C. (2017-18):  Named First Team All-Region 16 and First Team All-MCCAC.  Played 31 games and started 29.  Averaged 13.6 points per game, and shot 42.4 percent from the three-point arc (61-for-144).  Shot 83.2 percent from the free-throw line, and 45.3 percent from the field.  Scored a career-high 23 points vs. College of Westminster JV’s where he shot 8-for-10 from the floor, 4-5 from the arc, and 3-3 from the free throw line.  Drained a career-high five treys against McHenry County.

Mount St. Mary’s (2016-17): Played 11 games in his freshman year, and averaged 1.5 points per game.  Shot 3-fo4-7 (42.9 percent) from the arc.  Made his collegiate debut at No. 20 Iowa State where he played four minutes.  Scored a career-high five points at Minnesota.

High School (Mount Saint Joseph): Named First Team All-Conference in his senior year.

Personal: Born Sept. 7, 1998 in Odenton, Maryland.  Parents are Randy and Tuneesa Miller.  Enjoys playing video games, and hanging out with his family and friends.  Has two siblings.  Majoring in mass communication at NCCU.
