North Carolina Central University Athletics

2019: Third Team All-MEAC.  Appeared in 47 games and started 45.  Batted .256 with 40 hits.  Slugged .378 with eight doubles, one triple, and three home runs for 21 RBI, and scored 31 runs.  Hit two three-run home runs within five days of each other against NC State (March 6) and North Carolina A&T (March 10).  Finish tied for fifth in the MEAC with 31 walks and had a .403 on base percentage.  Held a team-best 13-game hit streak and a 30-game streak of reaching base safely.  Had 10 multi-hit games with two three-hit games.  Also had five multi-RBI games including a four-RBI outing against NC State on March 6.  Had back-to-back three-hit games in a series against Davidson, going 6-for-9 with two doubles and one RBI with four runs scored.

2018: Made 25 appearances with 13 starts.  Picked up 11 hits with four doubles, and drove in 10 RBI.  Had one of his best games of the season against Maryland Eastern Shore when he picked up a pair of hits with two RBI, three runs scored, and two walks.

Wake Tech Community College: Batted .318 his sophomore year with 29 RBI, seven doubles, and four home runs.  Slugged .495 with a .318 on base percentage with 23 runs scored and five stolen bases.  Named North Wake Fungo team MVP in 2016.

High School (Heritage): Was named Cap-8 All-Conference three times, and was also a three-time member of the Dean’s List as he graduated with honors.

Personal: Born September 19, 1997 in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Parents are Tyron Coyle and Angela Alcutt.  Enjoys playing video games, weightlifting, spending time with his family and friends, and food.  Majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
