North Carolina Central University Athletics

2016:  MEAC All-Academic selection.  Appeared in 52 games and started 45 as an outfielder.  Picked up 26 hits and touched home 24 times.  Had seven multi-hit games.  Had his best game of the season when he went 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored against NJIT (March 6).

2015:  Played 28 games and started 19.  Batted .302 with a five-game and six-game hitting streak.  Picked up back-to-back multi-hit games on April 4 and April 8 against North Carolina A&T and Campbell, going 4-for-8 with two RBI, three runs and two walks over both games.  Earned 10 walks and finished with an on base percentage of .421.  Recorded four outfield assists. Went 3-for-5 at UNC Asheville (April 21) with two RBI and three runs scored.  

2014:  Named to 2014 All-MEAC Academic Team.  Played in 19 games as a redshirt freshman starting in three subbing in mainly as a pinch runner.  Went 2-for-5 with a run scored in the comeback victory over Virginia State on April 2, then went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a run scored in the final game of the twinbill.

High School (Northwood H.S.): Member of the Carolina 2A Conference All-Conference squad every year besides his freshman year in baseball and made the squad in football during his senior year.
 
Personal: Born June 9, 1994, in Raleigh, NC.  Parents are Kimberly and Shawn Harris. Major at NCCU is Exercise Sports Science.
