2013: As a junior she appeared in all 28 matches while starting in 27 … Ranked in the top-five of majority of the Eagles offensive and defensive categories … Finished fourth on the team in kills with 152 on 427 attempts (.148), averaging 1.63 per set … Ranked fourth on the team in digs with 117 (1.26 dps), second on the team in blocks with 72 (.77 bps) and finished with a team second-best 14 solo blocks during the season … McCarthy finished the season with seven double-digit kill performances and back-to-back kill/dig double-doubles on Sept. 21 and 27 with 10 kills and 15 digs against George Mason along with 14 kills and 10 digs versus North Carolina A&T … She recorded six blocks on three occasions during the season and collected three solo blocks on Sept. 7 against Indiana State.

2012: During her sophomore season McCarthy played in 30 matches while starting in 25 … She ranked in the Eagles top-five in kills with 133 on 347 attempts... six service aces … 41 block assists, one solo block …. 79 digs … Posted two double-digit kill performances against Hampton on Aug. 26 (11) and Oct. 5 versus Florida A&M (10)

2011: As a rookie McCarthy played in 22 matches starting in 15 … Amassed 65 kills on 221 attempts … nine service aces …29 block assists, five solo blocks and 13 digs.  

High School: Graduated from Elmont Memorial High School in 2011 … Was a three-sport athlete, participated in volleyball, softball and track and field … Named All-Conference and All-County in volleyball, softball and track and field … Member of the All-District in track and field and softball … Named All-State and All-Federation track and field … Achieved Most Valuable Player award in volleyball, softball and track and field.
