DURHAM, N.C. - North Carolina Central University held its 147th commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 9, inside McDougald-McLendon Arena where 28 student-athletes earned their undergraduate degrees. Several support staff, including student assistants, also earned undergraduate degrees.   

Among the graduates were members of the Men's Tennis team which won the 2025 HBCU National Championship, as well as student-athletes on the Women's Tennis team, Football team, Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country teams, Men's Basketball team, Volleyball team, Men's and Women's Golf teams and Cheerleading team.
